Seg, tonsils and REALLY bad news

first, the REALLY bad news: Dox's mom passed away 3 days ago and Hino did not tell us until today. so we feel really bad because we would have atleast sent flowers or, if needed, money. she had been sick for a very long time but that doesn't mean it is less of a shock to loved ones.
Maniac Mike is in Seg. he got caught with a broken razor blade that he had in a book. he would use the 2 pieces of the blade to light cigarettes using batteries. he will be in Seg until the 25th of this month. both Popeye and i told him to ditch the blades when he had no cigarettes but he is his own stubborn self (as, i guess, he should be) and got caught. Seg means he lost his single cell, had all his shit removed, cannot call or get visits. he can get mail and newspapers and can still place store orders (from a select group of items.) this is his first time in Seg while in RI. i don't feel sorry for him, but Angel is so bothered by not getting her phone calls that i thing she is depressed.
i have a brand new, never before experienced illness...WOW...YAHOOIE! something new to make life interesting. my tonsils are exuding liquid of some sort. it has some connection to my lymph system. my throat hurts really bad one day, and the next, it's not too bad. i was originally prescribed azythromycin in pill form, but that triggered the Celiac Monster so i was switched to liquid and that's fine. now, i wait.
hoping to register to vote at the Town Hall in the town where i now live tomorrow. (terrible grammar!)
no good news today, sorry.

stealing seven things

well, it's almost time for me to leave for our 4pm visit. i just wanted you folks to know that, when i get back, i plan on plagiarising from the blog www.onkroes.blogspot.com. he has a column called "seven things i...." that looks like it was awfully fun to do. so i'm gonna do it. but not now. no, later. because now i have to get out of my pj's and into some street clothes to go and visit my huband. i just wanted to give onkroes (steve) a chance to press charges for stealing. please convict me and put me in my husbands cell. or atleast the cell next door. we can pass love notes back and forth, and he can show me how to make a shiv out of a toilet paper roll and we could raise a pet spider named Spot and we would get visits from my son and i wouldn't have to go to WORK! oh, what a happy little family we would be.

home again

well, i'm back from my visit. it was a good one. the 6pm visits are the longest ones. the next visit won't be until thursday @ 6pm again. Mike rehashed some stories from his past including stories about a Dominatrix named Joetta. she was really something. beating men was her full time job. she called the men "clients" and made pretty good money. no, Mike was never a client, but they had an affair and became good friends later. Joetta actually had a live in slave who loved being treated badly. he had Tourettes and everyone called him Mike the Blasphemer. neither the slave or any of Joetta's clients were ever allowed to touch her. hmmm...i could enjoy work like that. i would gladly quit the library for a dungeon, a whip and some really naughty men who need some discipline.

now back to the subject: Maniac Mike had a Coke and some pretzels and we talked and held hands like we always do. the visit takes place in a big room with individual tables that can sit four. we must sit across from each other and cannot touch each other above the elbows. we get one kiss and a hug at the start of the visit and another kiss and hug at the end. the visits SUCK big time. he is in Medium Security but it is run more like a Max facility. tonights visit lasted from 6pm to 8:30pm. visits are either at 1pm, 4pm or 6pm and change during the week. visitors have a dress code to follow and we must pass through a metal detector. occasionally, they'll spring a random drug test on us, usually around a major holiday. it is all very tedious.

no proofreading for pagans

okay. so far, so good. i have a habit of NOT proofreading, so the goofs will show. i am lazy. too lazy to proofread. the story of my life. too lazy to eat. too lazy to go to church. too lazy for the mornings . the only things i do work hard on is my job, and flushing the toilet. i would say i work hard on my marriage but marriage has been nothing but pleasure and far from hard work. my husband and i work together on everything and we value each others opinions even if we don't always agree. we were lucky. we married for love alone. we got to be good friends first. we might have had to marry in prison but that was just a small sacrifice. when he is released in 2008, we will have a Handfasting ceremony, hopefully on Halloween. i'm a Catholic and my husband is a Pagan and we get along wonderfully. i am intrigued by his religion and amazed how much it has changed him. he is much calmer and happier. he refers to his religious work as "witchery" which is a cool word. he follows the Wiccan Rede. he's expanding his mind and heart. i like that.
